Finished eps 7 through 10 of Solty Rei. I wasn't sure how I felt about Rose becomeing a main character but I'm starting to like her. I love Solty and Carrie Savage's voice is adorable. :3
My thighs hurt. A lot. After a 1 mile run on Monday, I decided to try out some lunges and sprints. I didn't even do that many. D= Daaw well.

I ordered all the Speed Grapher DVDs yesterday. I was thinking about getting the box set, but koala showed me that the individual DVDs were cheaper on Rightstuf. The cheapest shipping cost was 8 dollars ( >=( ), but still, a total of 33 dollars is the cheapest I'm probably going to find. I don't think that's too bad.
I'm loving Funimation's video site right now. I'm really interested in seeing the rest of Solty Rei and Basilisk.
The temperature went up a little here last week, but I expect that it'll go back to the 10s and 20s this week. Also, I want to try to take some CLEPs in the next few weeks.

Jan. 17th, 2009 05:47 pmNothing very exciting has been going on over this way. I've been pretty bored, which motivated me to start catching up with Bleach again. Right now, I'm in the 270s somewhere. I think I skipped a couple of chapters when I was trying to find the spot I left off at, but I don't really care.
I think Dondochakka and Pesshe are alright, but they talk way too much. I think they would be funnier if their "flip out" moments were a little more sparse. I've read up to the fight between Szayel and Ishida and Renji, and so far, I like Rukia's fight with arrrruurruriejrowje the best. For one, he dies when he gets stabbed (no BS "still okay after smoke clears/pulls out sword/whatever crap excuse for surviving) and he dies pretty quickly. Plus, the whole scenario went well with her inner conflict.
Couple of series I heard about a few weeks ago: Nodame Cantabile and Toradora. The first one I absolutely love, and finished both series very quickly. I caught up with the manga, but discovered that the author is on maternal leave right now. Makes me sad. Toradora is only up to episode 15, but I'm enjoying it right now.
Almost forgot one other series that I learned about today. Only two episodes subbed right now. Maria Holic. Very strange. A girl who hates boys transfers to an all girls' school. Meets a cute girl, determines that she is her "fated one". Then she discovers it's a trap. This show has one of the weirdest and coolest openings I've seen so far.

Bought Dragonball Z Season Three today, and started a new game of Odin Sphere.

Well, my abs are killing me from Tuesday's workout. She was not lying when she said we would feel it the next day. Or the day after that. And the day after that. Feels kind of (maybe) good. I haven't had a really good ab workout in a while.
I bought a yoga mat thingydoo so I don't have to use the ones they have at the gym anymore. They smell funny. I also bought these weird little pushup bar thingies. I don't know how much they'll help or if they will at all, but screw it, they only cost me five dollars.
And I'm pretty much posting this because I'm bored.

Dec. 30th, 2008 05:24 pmSo because of the holidays, the cafeteria has limited its selection of food. They didn't expect it to be busy. WRONG. It's still busy during lunch, and dinner isn't that much different honestly. The thing is, how the hell do you run out of chicken wings when you've only been open a half hour for dinner!! Do you just stop making food at lunch and hope you don't run out?? GAWWWW
There better be something good on New Year's. I demand it! I was originally going to spend time with my grandmother and my uncle's family for New Year's, but most everybody's sick, so they cancelled. Oh well, I'm fricking sleepin in...!

I have a sore in the back of my mouth that my back teeth are right up against. Normally it doesn't bother me too much, except when I'm eating and then HOLY HELL. I'm moving my mouth into funny ways just to not have to deal with the pain.
Also, fuck Persona 4. This is one of the hardest games I've ever played. I've died so many freaking times it's not funny. ON NORMAL BATTLES. I seriously might end up pulling my hair out in frustration. Cool thing is, I made it to the end of the third dungeon (after having to waste an ingame day to go buy some items ;-;) and beat the boss on my first try. holy crap I am happy. That was one...very interesting boss too. (Hint:pole dancer)
Also rangers need to keep their fucking vowels out of our srs bzns. Cripes man.

Dec. 18th, 2008 07:40 pmI got Persona 4 in the mail yesterday and I started playing it immediately. This game has a long exposition. I think I was an hour and a half in before I fought the very first battle and boss, and even then those were more like tutorials. I guess about a half hour later (since I continued today) I actually got the the first dungeon. I wondered around for quite a while leveling up and stuff. I apparently made it the final floor (according to the wise teddy bear that guides me around the TV world). I was determined to see just how far I could get, and I died. Awesome. It's my fault for trying to go through it all at once without a break or save. XD
Almost forgot to mention that the main character starts out with a golf club as his weapon. My dad would be so proud of me.

More on video games
Nov. 30th, 2008 06:10 pmPlayed FF12 yesterday, finished up at the Lhusu Mines. I'm kidnapped somewhere right now. (again hurr) Today I took another try with Grandia 3 and I managed to beat the first boss, yay. The game's battle system is a little more difficult than the last two. I'm relying a lot more on the criticals and cancels than I ever did in 1 and 2.
The "dungeon/battle" areas of the game are HUUUGE. They take for freaking ever to get through. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's meh. Just as I was gettting sick of the forest came out onto a cliff overloocking the woods and a beach. Freaking pretty. The game got more interesting with Alonso showed up. He's awesome. But now he and Miranda are leaving. NOOO!!! Don't take the cool characters!! I don't want Ulf!! D=
